Sephora Sale! | Spring Savings ends April 19

Looking to get some new makeup? Now’s the time to shop at Sephora for MORE than one item.

Makeup can be so pricey, I can hardly every buy more than one product at a time if we’re talking foundation and powders. However, now that there’s reason shop AND save, I thought I’d share my top picks with you!

The Sephora Sale is officially open to everyone. This sale is typically broken into tiers (similar to how Nordstrom did their anniversary sale last year), with VIB Rouge members shopping first, then VIBs, then Insiders.

Each member can get a different percentage off, depending on which bracket they fall into.

I haven’t shopped at Sephora much, so I have the status of Insider and can only get 10% off.

You can shop this sale in stores or online with code: OMGSPRING

While looking at the cart I just filled up online, I realize it’s a lot of basics and one skincare item.

I’ve definitely been through a phase where I wanted to try EVERYTHING and ALL the hottest skincare products, but I’m at a point in my life now where I know what works for me and I know what I like, makeup-wise.

I also like to use sales like these for pricer products, so I can save on them.

Here’s what I picked out from the sale:

IT Cosmetics – Your Skin But Better Foundation – It’s not full coverage, but good for everyday wear. For full coverage, I like Estee Lauder’s Double Wear Foundation – it’s been my all-time favorite foundation. I wear the shade Tawny in this one.

For face powder, I’m pretty simple – I’ve used Mac Mineralized Skin Finish, Laura Mercier Translucent powder, and more recently, Charlotte Tillbury’s Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder. They all seem the same to me, and I have seen nothing amazing about either one. Let me know if you have a must-have powder product.

I added the Kat Von D Tattoo Eyeliner to my cart. Ever since I first tried this out, I never went back to pencil eyeliner again. It’s amazing and makes me feel good about putting eyeliner on because it goes on smoothly!

I added the Tarte Toasted Eyeshadow Palette because I feel like eyeshadow palettes can be pricey, so save now. I like the colors in this palette with the reds and browns. I think these colors give a pretty neutral look, with depth.

Nars blush will always be my favorite. Not only does the color last long, but the product lasts long as well. I’ve tried colors in Orgasm and Deep Throat, and love them both. Right now, I’m wanting to try the color, Sin.

Can’t forget about bronzer! I added the Hoola Matte Bronzer from Benefit. I’m not too picky about bronzer, but I really like this one!

For skincare, I really like these Extra Strength Alpha Daily Peels by Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare. These are so expensive, so try to get them on sale when you can!

Clinique’s Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm – I LOVE cleansing balms, so I definitely recommend getting one. It’s amazing at taking off makeup and makes it easy to double cleanse. For more on double cleansing, check out my blog post here.

Lastly, I’d list the Dyson Supersonic Hairdryer or Airwrap, but they’re already out of stock! That’s what I don’t like about tiered sales – the hot ticket items sell out way before the general public has access to the sale. I have the hairdryer, and I definitely recommend! It’s quieter than a normal hairdryer and dries my hair really fast – worth it!

Those are my pics from the Sephora Sale! I hope you found my list helpful! Overall, I never go too crazy over this sale, I just stick to basics!

My Favorite Teami Products

Being a Teami partner, I get to try a lot of their products. However, I do have my favorites!

My goal as a content creator is to always be transparent with you. While as a partner, I do have to post about and promote any new product they send me, but you will always see me continue to talk about my favorites!

Teami is known for their plant-based products and first started with their Teami Blends tea! I’ve tried their Skinny Tea blend, which I enjoy, but don’t reach for it everyday.

What I am reaching for everyday though, is their skincare line.

Facial Oils

From their beauty face masks, cleansers, toners, and more.. I’m hooked! And I truly feel the products I talk about really work – I see results and it keeps me coming back for more!

Beauty Mask

Since this is more focused on skincare, I thought it would be important to link my double-cleansing blog post.

Superfood Cleanser

Of course, as a Teami partner, you can get 25% off with my code: ONAIR25. It’s automatically applied through this link: https://www.teamiblends.com/discount/…

How I prevent maskne (mask acne)

#TeamiPartner

Mask acne hit me really hard when there was a mask mandate for Colorado – I was breaking out like crazy! However, I didn’t take any steps to prevent “maskne” at that time.

When I did start taking prevention steps, I went a little overboard. I had read online that using a benzoyl peroxide gel or cream would be really helpful along the chin and mouth area – it was! I just used too much of it and it dried out the lower half of my face really bad – it looked like I had white scruff!

I’ve learned a lot through trial and error when it comes to maskne, so here’s what I’ve found that works best for me.

*Note: I am NOT a dermatologist and can only speak to my experience. My skin type is oily.

Step 1: Double Cleanse – I have a blog post all about it here.

Step 2: Face Toner – I have a number of different toners ranging from weak to strong. I use one type of toner a day on my face, depending on what I feel my face needs. For example, if I wore my face mask almost all day, I would use the stronger toner.

Step 3: Benzoyl peroxide – I never really use toner and a benzoyl peroxide cream or gel at the same time, so this could sometimes be step 2. I use this about one to two times a week on days when I feel like my skin needs that extra care.

Step 4: The other kind of face mask – I’ve been using the Teami Beauty Mask, Restorative Clay Facial. I’ve never really been consistent with any type of face mask until this one – it’s gentle enough to be used multiple times a week (I’ve been using it almost every other day) and it’s made with natural ingredients and no harsh chemicals. Also, it smells amazing! It makes my skin soft (as expected), but it also gives me a glow. I’ve noticed that having a consistent weekly face mask has definitely helped keep my skin clear.

You can get 15% off the Teami’s face mask with my code: ONAIR15 with a minimum purchase of

Step 5: This is the MOST IMPORTANT and the step that has been the most LIFE CHANGING for me: TONER. Yes, it’s another toner, but it’s used on my face mask. I’ve been using the Trader Joe’s face toner (but I’m sure any toner in a spray bottle would work) and I haven’t had a breakout since. I only spray my face mask with toner right before I head to my car.

These are all the steps I take in order to prevent maskne. Let me know if you have any tips you’d like to share as well!
