Last week’s best sellers is complete with a dress and a pair of wedges!
This Amazon dress is one I do not own personally, but is currently in my “save for later” cart. I love a long simple t-shirt dress and this one looks very comfy!
These Target wedges are actually comfortable and look great with a dress or a pair of jeans. They are true to size. I got them in a size 7.
These next two items also come from Target – Byoma skincare products are truly a hit with me! I love how refreshing this toner spray is, as well as this serum (which really surprises me since I feel like most serums can feel heavy). The toner can also be used as a refreshing spray throughout the day, which I really like! Also – there are instructions on the side of each bottle, which really helps when you start adding more products to your skincare routine. So, that is something I REALLY appreciate because it can get confusing at times!
Lastly, the Amazon purse organizer makes the best sellers list again! It has so many compartments and gives a home to every item in your purse. It comes in several different colors to help you match the interior of your purse. It also makes switching tote bags easier since all you need to do is lift the organizer and move it into your new purse! Check out my full review on it here.

I hope you all had a great weekend! Saturday was relaxing, and today (Sunday) was a busy one! I usually try to flip-flop these so I can fully relax the day before I head back in to work, but it doesn’t always happen that way!
Warmer weather means more time on the patio! I wanted to make this blog post sharing all of my patio must-haves. I’m not making this blog post because I think my patio is perfect. In fact, some of the items I’m listing I don’t even have (yet!). So, for me, my patio is kind of a work in progress. However, being in a military family means we will always be moving, so it’s important for me to buy patio items that I know will work in any outdoor space we have.
Here are my top patio must-haves:
Sectional seating – Everyone needs a good sitting area on their patio, and it’s a plus if it’s comfortable! I love this sectional from Walmart and I love that it comes with all-weather cushions and pillows, and a little table with a tempered-glass top. It took some time to put together, but I felt very accomplished once I was done! I liked this sectional in particular, because you can arrange the seats in multiple different ways. The sectional also came with a weather cover, which I highly recommend for all your patio furniture. Even though the cushions are weatherproof, I want everything to last as long as possible!
Swing/hanging chair– I personally love my egg swing chair (mine is out of stock, but I’ve linked other options). It’s by far my best pandemic purchase! I got mine from Overstock on a really good deal that I just could not pass on. It came with both the stand and the cushions. I bought a cover separately from Amazon, so I love that I can leave the cushions on it while it’s not being used. These swing/hanging chairs are such a fun addition to any patio. I love spending time on it – it’s very comfortable!
Smokeless firepit/gas firepit – We have the Solo Stove and while I personally don’t use it much (my husband uses it more than me), it’s still a nice option to have during the summer and snowless winter nights. We have the Yukon Solo Stove, which is the largest size, and I can say it really does reduce the amount of smoke from a fire. I also think gas fire pits come in some pretty nice options too. I like the options I’ve seen on Overstock and Lowe’s.
Outdoor rug – I never understood the point of an outdoor rug until I started decorating my patio. I finally saw how it can really pull an area together. And while our current patio doesn’t currently have an outdoor rug (you can see in pictures that this is due to the ground under the Solo Stove), I’m definitely planning to get one for our next home! I’ll be looking at Overstock for a good deal on one.
Patio umbrella – I have been on the hunt for a good patio umbrella since our first summer in Montana. I actually wanted one shortly after I got my egg swing chair, but we soon found out that we’d be moving to Montana. Now that we are here, I’ve realized the summers are short and the winters are long. So, the umbrella is on my list for our next home – hopefully, it’s in a warmer spot!
Fly Flans – I recently heard about these Fly Fans on Instagram and it’s already in my “save for later” cart on Amazon. They’re meant to prevent flies from flying to your patio table – which is so helpful for food! I believe they come in a pack of two, but I want to place four all over my patio so I don’t get any flies at all! I might be overdoing it, but I hate flies and want to relax on my patio in peace! How does it work? Apparently, they have little reflectors on the wings that flies don’t like! Stay tuned for a product review once I get these in!
Outdoor grill – No patio is complete without an outdoor grill! We got ours from Amazon, but we are planning to upgrade after our next move! I like the options on Lowe’s for grills too!
Flowers – Last, but not least are some patio plants! I don’t have very many, but the one pot of flowers I have on my little table has made such a huge difference! It’s a pop of color and it just adds so much to the space! We have a local flower farm in town, but you can also check out spots like Home Depot or Lowe’s.
While my patio may look unfinished, it’s all helping me plan for our next home and its outdoor space – which I’m so excited for!

Next, this eyelash comb is perfect for combing out your lashes before and after mascara. It’s really helped separate my lashes and even helps to give my lashes a fuller look since they’re all evenly flared out. I’m so glad I found this product!
The Clinique Take the Day Off cleansing balm is my absolute favorite. It does an amazing job at melting your makeup off. I use the double cleansing method, which really helps clear my skin of all my makeup and oils. You can read more about it here. Oh! The BOGO sale on QVC is still going on! It’s so worth it!
Lastly, this Skims dress is such an easy go-to outfit. I love wearing it by itself for lounging at home, or you can add a denim jacket to add to the look and run errands. It’s so versatile and comfortable!
I hope you all have a great week!

This week’s blog post is all about the Voloom Volumizing Hair Iron! Have you seen the videos about it on TikTok? It’s what sold me on it and I knew I just had to try it out for myself!
It’s basically like a hair crimper (remember those?!), but with much deeper groves. The iron is meant to be used on the under-layers of your hair, to of course, give you volume!
The thing about TikTok and IG reels is that you only see a few seconds to a minute of it. Of course, TikTok has longer videos now, but there’s only so much time you have. Now, I have to be honest (as always!) and tell you I did NOT have that “wow” moment everyone seemed to have on TikTok. I figured there must be some sort of user error I’m having, so I spent the next few days after my first attempt, trying to get it down.
You’ll see what my ultimate review on the Voloom Volumizing Hair Iron is – watch the full video down below:

I hope you all had a great long Memorial Day weekend! Here are last week’s best sellers!
First, these Quay sunglasses – they’re part of the BOGO sale! The sale is still going on, so if you haven’t taken advantage of it yet, now’s the time! I do feel that these sales happen often, so if you’re still in the middle of saving, don’t worry! Another BOGO sale shouldn’t be too far!
This mini Rothy’s handbag is a great piece to have in your collection – and it’s machine washable! The candy apple red color is no longer in stock, but they have a lot of other color options!
This Kate Spade bum bag is one of my new favorites! I love that it can go with any outfit, whether it’s dressy or casual. Also, it’s just so convenient!
This foldable dog pool makes the list yet again! It’s great for warm summer days for your dogs to cool off in, or for giving them a bath in!
Lastly, the Jergens self-tanner is so easy to use, so I’d say it’s great for those new to self-tanning. I like that you can instantly see what areas you’ve already covered. I recommend using a mitt with this. You can check out my experience with my first time using it – click here to check it out!
I hope you all have a great rest of your week!

The weather in Montana has officially reached the 80s and I wanted to share my summer skincare must-haves!
Skincare is something I wish I took a little more seriously years ago when I was in college. I went to the University of Arizona, a very large campus, and I walked all across campus to class, five days a week – all without sunscreen. Can you believe it?! Of course, back then, I didn’t have all the sun/dark spots I have now, so the thought of them happening to me never came to mind! Now, at 32, my skin is different and I realize the importance of proper skincare and protecting your skin from all potential harm – all to help age gracefully!
This list is just a basic reference and doesn’t include any extras. This is just a list of what I’ve found works well for me. Here are my top five summer skincare must-haves:
1. Sunscreen
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it over and over again – sunscreen is a major must!! While sunscreen is on my summer skincare must-have list, it’s something you should be using year-round! If you take only one piece of advice from this blog post, I hope it’s implementing sunscreen in your skincare routine, if you don’t yet. My favorite ones are from Supergoop – They have a huge variety, but I love their Unseen Sunscreen and their powder sunscreen for touch-ups throughout the day. I also just ordered this facial spray sunscreen – I’ll keep you updated on how I like it!
2. Moisturizer
Just because you have oily skin, doesn’t mean you need to skip out on moisturizer! It took me a long time to understand this because I’ve always had oily skin. In fact, it used to be a lot worse than it is today because I used to not do anything about it! There is so much a dermatologist can you help out with in terms of your skincare routine, or targeting areas you’re concerned about. I’m picky about my moisturizers – my favorite ones are the ones that melt on your face and leave your skin feeling soft, smooth, and of course, moisturized. My favorite is this one from Neutrogena, but if I want to splurge, I love this one from Lancome.
3. Cleanser
It took me a while to get a good cleansing routine down – you have to understand what works best for your skin! When I worked in TV news, I would pile on the makeup (I still do most days!), so I needed a cleansing that would ensure a deep clean for my pores. In order to get that, I use the double-cleansing method. First, I use an oil-based cleanser to remove all my makeup and dirt from the day, then I use a water-based cleanser to ensure all of it comes off! This method works best on my skin. Check out my blog post all about it here (I’ve since switched my cleanser to CeraVe). Here are my double-cleansing products: Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm and CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser.
4. Toner
For a while, I didn’t think toner did much – I really wondered, “what’s the point?” Now, I understand it further cleans your skin – removing anything else left behind after your cleansing routine. I personally noticed a major difference when I switched to the double cleansing method – I saw less and less being left behind on my cotton round! I don’t splurge on toners, and usually use this one from Thayers. My favorite is the cucumber-scented one. It’s very gentle and doesn’t dry my face out.
5. Moisture Spray
Okay, this one is just something to refresh you – moisture spray! I love the feeling of spraying on setting spray after putting makeup on, and I was excited when I found this Moisture Surge spray from Clinique. First of all, I’m a huge fan of Clinique’s Moisture Surge Hydrator (it was a big help during my maskne incident), so I knew this spray would also be effective. I got a sample of it in an order and found it to be so useful in the summer, or anytime my skin needed some hydration.
I hope you found my list helpful! Let me know what changes you’re making to your skincare routine this summer!
