With my wedding happening last weekend, I took a little hiatus, but I’m back with some best sellers!
I’m happy to see the Chi Spin n Curl on the list because it was a hit amongst my friends during my bachelorette party. Big thanks to my maid of honor, Alison, for bringing it!
The big day happened over Labor Day weekend, on Sept. 4th, 2021.
It was an amazing day, full of sunshine, no stress (except for worrying about my train getting stepped on! lol), and lots of smiles and laughter.
I’m still waiting to get back my wedding photos (we had a photographer and videographer for eight hours, so they have a ton to go through!), but in the meantime, I want to share some behind-the-scenes pics and photos leading up to the wedding.
We got married in Chattanooga, TN at Tennessee RiverPlace. The venue is right along the river, and the trees make for a beautiful backdrop.
I had the best bridal party! My friends really helped me feel less stressed and made sure I was always having fun. I love them so much.
I had originally planned to have my bachelorette party in Nashville (the bachelorette capital of the world), but the COVID-19 pandemic had other plans. So, instead, we had everything scheduled for the week of the wedding – starting with the bachelorette in downtown Chattanooga on a Thursday, the rehearsal lunch and ceremony rehearsal Friday, and then the wedding on Saturday.
While we were driving to our rehearsal lunch location, we saw the Walker Theater – my girls knew I’d love this photo op and would not let me miss out on it! I have to admit, I was stressed during/after the rehearsal lunch, and didn’t feel up to this impromptu photo shoot. But with the theater displaying my new last name, I knew they were right – I’d be upset if I missed this! And I’m so happy with how the shots turned out!
Shop my wedding week looks. I changed into the short white flowy dress for our ceremony rehearsal since it was pretty hot. The heels are a great neutral piece to have for any look!
I do want to mention my wedding planner, Jess. Without her, I would have been lost, super stressed with wedding details, because honestly, everything I stressed about while I was in TN was related to things outside of the wedding itself. She made my wedding day schedule and picked up all the important things, including the cake and flowers. She handled the setup and break down too. Planning a destination wedding was tough, but she made it all happen. I highly recommend Say Yes with Jess Weddings to any bride looking for a wedding planner in the Tenessee area.
Of course, no wedding weekend would be complete without Sunday brunch! We went to State of Confusion – it lives up to its expectation. I loved my meal! I had the eggs benedict.
I’m still living that wedding/newlywed high, and I’m so happy so many of our friends were able to make the trip out for our big day. I miss them all so much!
Here are last week’s best sellers! Good mix of tops from Lulu’s and Abercrombie. I use my Amazon purse organizer every day and love how everything in my purse has a place.
This vlog was meant to be a review of the Amazon magnetic screen door, but I wasn’t able to complete the project! You’ll understand in the full video down below.
In the end, this week’s video turned into a mini day in the life and vlog about my day. It’s pretty random, but I give you a look into how I’m prepping for the wedding, packing-wise. I found this great garment bag from Amazon – you can put multiple pieces of clothing in there! It has three loops to hang from.

Halfway through last week, I realized I never posted best sellers from two weeks ago! My fiancé and I were out of town, visiting Glacier National Park. It was pretty smoky, so the views weren’t everything they could have been. But it was still pretty cool to see!
Anyways, on to the best sellers!
I’m so happy whenever I see an item I absolutely love, constantly on the best sellers list! I’m talking about this oversized blazer from Express. It’s comfortable, a great color, and looks great on petites!
I want to mention the two Amazon finds that made the list: the 14-makeup brush set and my everyday ring. I use the foundation and bronzer brushes every day and they’re still holding up well. I use this scrubbing pad and cleanser to clean my brushes – it really works! And as for the ring, my finger has yet to turn green! Such a great purchase!
I’m still in love with the nightdress from Nordstrom – it’s so soft! I plan on eventually getting it in other colors.
