Nordstrom Anniversary Sale | 2021

It’s that time of year again! Time to take advantage of some good deals coming up at Nordstrom!

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is the time I shop at Nordstrom the most. I try not to make too many purchases throughout the year there and usually try to wait for this sale.

I understand this sale is frustrating for many, myself included. The problem I’ve seen in the past is that A LOT of things sell out FAST. In addition to this, a lot of influencers buy multiples of items for their giveaways – and these are popular items too, like the Barefoot Dreams blankets. In fact, I was so annoyed by never being able to get that blanket on sale, that I just bought it myself full price! It doesn’t make sense to me that influencers make collages of very popular items, that the general public won’t even be able to put the item in their cart once the sale is open to them!

So, for this year’s sale, I put together a list of things I’m hoping don’t sell out quickly. Yes, I’ve included things like the Barefoot Dreams blankets, just to let you know it is a hot-ticket item. I’ve also included a few things I already have and can 100% vouch for in terms of quality.

The products I tend to stay away from during this sale, are shoes. Shoes are always difficult for me to buy online – I prefer to try them on in-store if I can. While I love a great deal on a pair of shoes, unless I’m dying to have them, I won’t make the purchase. This is something I learned from my a previous Nordstrom Anniversary Sale – I bought booties and they were just a little too tight for my wide feet! I kept them anyway. I just try not to wear them for long hours.

As you browse through these collages (all are linked) I made, I suggest putting items you love in your “wish list.” This will make the process to check out quick and easy, and gives you a higher chance of actually getting these products. I do want to warn you however, that I did end up not getting a shirt that I successfully checked out with because turns out – it was out of stock. So, that is another thing that is frustrating.

Take note of when you have access to the sale (I myself can start to shop on July 16th), and remember, don’t go into debt over it! Stay in control! I always give myself a limit and even then, try to stay below it as much as I can. All items are linked, just click on each collage. Good luck!

Watch the video below to see shots of the items I already have and my thoughts on each piece.

Best Sellers | June 21 – 27

I’m really excited about last week’s best sellers, because it means you’re loving what I share on my Instagram stories!

You all loved the three-barrel deep waver from Amazon – I love it too! And the striped dress is perfect for summer – I shared that on my Insta stories too! 😉

The studded sandals have been a major hit from Steve Madden – just be aware if you have wide feet like me. They fit, but they aren’t as easy to slip on, so I just move the straps up with my fingers.

Hope you all had a great weekend and I can’t wait to share more of my finds and deals throughout this next week!

LTK Day Sale | June 11 – 13

The LTK Day Sale is just around the corner! Are you following me on LIKEtoKNOWit? Follow me here!

I’ve already started sharing some pieces from stores participating in the sale, so start favoriting items you have your eye on, now!

Sales like these are a great time to purchase some complete outfits or basics. For example, I put this Express collage together, full of some good work pieces. I kind of went overboard, as you can tell by how full it is, but I’m truly on the hunt for some good workwear – and Express is my favorite store for workwear.

My favorite part about this sale specifically though, is that there are NO EXCLUSIONS with IT Cosmetics! So, I put this collage together with products I already have, and some I plan to eventually try out. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed their Confidence in a Cream – it just melts on your face – kind of similar to this moisturizer from Lancome.

Lastly, I got some good casual wear finds from Abercrombie & Fitch. I love their bodysuits and jeans (I’m late to the game on this!). I wear a size small in all their tops and a 25S in jeans or a 25R.

These are the stores I’ll be shopping at, but here’s links to the other participating stores. Remember, you MUST shop on the LTK app in order to access this exclusive sale!

Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay Mask | Review

Earlier this week, I bought the Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay. I’ve heard so many positive things about it, that I knew I just had to buy it when I saw it at Target!

I thought the clay was already pre-mixed and ready to use as a mask, but you actually have to mix it with water or raw apple cider vinegar. I personally hate apple cider vinegar, so I used water.

What I love about the clay is that you use it in a way that works for you. So, you can leave on your face for five minutes, or even as long as 20 minutes! And you really feel your face pulsate! The tightening and lift you feel from the mask is unreal – it’s strong! But don’t worry, it’s not painful.

Immediately afterward, my face felt smooth and soft – better than any other beauty mask I’ve used. Yes, other beauty masks give me smooth and soft skin afterward, but this was different – like next level.

I definitely recommend this mask to anyone looking for a deeper facial cleanse and softer skin. The instructions say you can use it once a week or more often for problematic skin – I’ll be using it two to three times a week. I’m really hoping to see a difference in my pores after longer use of the clay. I’ll make sure to keep you updated on this too!

Best Sellers | May 31 – June 6

Last week’s best sellers was a hit with Amazon, with items from Abercrombie and Express.

The broom is the FURemover and is amazing at removing fur from your carpet – it’s a huge help if your vacuum gets clogged up with fur easily. Our Dyson is still doing great, and I think because we make sure to vacuum weekly, our carpet is easier to maintain than the carpet we had in Colorado. We just had a constant layer of fur we could never get out!

Best Sellers | May 10-16

Last week’s best sellers really put together a whole outfit, complete with shoes and accessories! The Louis Vuitton Victorine Wallet is from Fashionphile, so you’re getting it preloved, at a good deal.

I love that the Amazon ring is continuously a hit, which means you’re all loving it too!

Because we are nearing the summer season, I wanted to let you all know about some patio furniture options – specifically egg swing chairs. We are slowly organizing our patio (still waiting on the other half of our patio sectional set!) and I’ve finally been able to spend more time outside in the sun – which means more time on the egg chair!

I got mine from Overstock, but it’s currently out of stock. I was able to find mine in a grey version on WayFair. I’ll link to that and some other cute options down below.
