I recently scored on a major coat sale this past week and I NEEDED to make a blog post about it to let you all know about my finds so you too, can take advantage of the sale!
If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll know I recently started a new job – which brought the need for nicer work coats. Before this purchase, I only had ONE nice work coat (which is too small today and it’s just an itchy one) that I bought while I was working in Texas. It was never a favorite, but I had limited options.
Right now, Nordstrom is having a sale on their long coats, so I had a plan to buy three of them, hoping at least one of them would fit me. I feel like I always have a hard time finding good coats for my petite frame, but let me tell you.. I got pretty lucky with this purchase – which totally backfired on my plan.
I bought this brown coat from Ralph Lauren (31% off) – did not have high expectations, but it’s definitely a fave! Fits well on my petite frame with a size 2. It’s made of a wool mix, so it’s not very itchy.
The second coat I got is also from Ralph Lauren (50%) – I swear I ordered it in black, but it ended up being in the color “midnight,” which I don’t even see listed on the website. I got it in a size XS and it looks great on tied and opened. This is my favorite coat from my entire Nordstrom order.
The third coat I got is from Ellen Tracy (40% off) – I ordered it in a size small, but it felt oversized and the material was very itchy. This is the one that is getting returned. Overall, it’s a cute coat! It’s just not cute on me.
Okay, that felt like a lot, but I don’t want you guys to miss out on this good coat sale!! Let me know if you end up ordering any coats or Rothy’s! Hope you all have a relaxing end to your weekend!

Here is where you’ll find a list of promos and coupon codes you can use throughout the week. I’m always searching for coupon codes before I place an order online (and sometimes even in person while I’m in line to check out), so I thought, I’d share some daily deals you can take advantage of this week!
Buy 1 get 1 $19.90 everything else (exclusions apply)
Extra 50% off for up to 70% off clearance items
Donate $5, get $5 reward: “Celebrate Women’s History: The Dream Big Project is proud to donate $50,000 to the NAACP Empowerment Programs, which ensure the wellbeing of Black women and their communities.
Hope you’re all having a great start to the week! I shot a reel of some of my favorite loungewear and when I went to link my pieces, a few of them were out of stock! Those pieces usually come back in stock later, but I’ve linked similar pieces from the same brand in the meantime.
The Nike sneakers have also carried over, but the color in the exact ones I have are STILL sold out! You’ll see there are other color options, and I will continue to check and see when my color is back in stock!

A lot of bloggers and content creators are posting about swimwear for spring, and that’s something that’s just not on my list. However, I didn’t want to leave you all hanging, just because swimwear is not something I’m currently shopping for.
So, I went “window shopping” and took a look at some swimsuits I’d buy myself IF I had plans to get in the water soon. My plans may change as we get into spring, but as of right now, Montana is still cold and I have zero need for swimwear.
Everything I’ve linked are all styles I’d wear myself. The swimsuits I found on Amazon are available on Amazon Prime.
The ones linked from Aerie are the only ones I found cute and I think would work on women bigger on top. I wanted to link another top option, but I knew realistically, it wouldn’t fit well on me.
The options from Nordstrom are a total splurge. I think they are the cutest one piece sets I’ve ever seen – I also kept coming back to them while I was “window shopping” !
Let me know which look is your favorite and which ones you end up buying! And please let me know if there’s a better go-to store for swimwear! I don’t shop for swimwear often, so I kind of just stick to what I know.
