My Favorite cleaning products | How to use an Angry Mama

Hope you all had a great last week! I just finished my first week at my new job and I’m SO GLAD I had a major cleaning sesh beforehand.

I knew the first week of a new job would be exhausting, so it was nice to have the cleaning out of the way.

I shot a quick “clean with me video” that’s attached to the bottom of this blog post, so I wanted to write up a short list of my favorite cleaning products. Now, this isn’t a full cleaning tools list, but a list of the cleaning products I use the most and often. This also doesn’t include my bathroom cleaning products (the worst, right?!)! These are products I us mainly in the living room and kitchen.

Mrs. Meyers Clean Day Multi-Surface Cleaner (honeysuckle scent) – I use this on our countertops and for just general cleaning. I also really like the lavender scent option!

Angry Mama – This makes cleaning the microwave SO EASY. All you need to do is pour in some vinegar, water, and heat it up for seven minutes as you watch the steam come out of your Angry Mama’s head! Let it sit for two minutes and wipe the microwave down with a clean cloth. I don’t clean the microwave any other way now! She also comes in other colors on Amazon!

Dyson vacuum – I have the Dyson V11 Torque Drive and absolutely love it! It’s cord-free and rechargeable. You can check out my full review on it on my YouTube channel. I still need to find a good home for it in our Montana home, so for now it’s just sitting on a shelf next to all its tools/parts. Our corgis shed like crazy, so we have to vacuum at least once a week (really, we should probably do more, but it’s hard to squeeze in time between a full-time job and blogging! It’s a great vacuum, and well worth the splurge, in my opinion!

FURemover Broom – This is a rubber dog hair broom and it has been a game-changer (before we lost it in our move to MT)! Since our corgis shed so much, dog hair fills up our Dyson quickly. However, since using this broom, it saves so much time – ensuring the Dyson isn’t wasting space on dog hair! This has been on my Amazon list since we realized it was lost. So, it’ll be in our house again soon! Check out my review of it on my YouTube channel.

A $12 purse strap for your Louis Vuitton Speedy | Closer Look

I had already talked about this amazing Amazon find in a vlog, but I wanted to give you guys a closer look at it as well!

I have the Louis Vuitton Speedy 30 – got it years ago, but it was never a practical bag because unlike the Speedy B, it does not have a strap. So, it makes using both hands while shopping or running errands a bit challenging!

Now, I did tons of research on this years ago, trying to see if it was a good idea and if would I damage my purse. Some recommended it, and others did not.

I also couldn’t justify spending hundreds of dollars on a Louis Vuitton purse strap.

But after watching Now You Glow (a seller of pre-loved designer items) on Instagram live, I was sold on finally giving this type of purse strap a try!

Thanks to her, I learned about the idea of attaching a non-LV strap to my LV purse! I googled ‘purse strap’ on Amazon and came across this one!

I got the dark brown color and it’s a perfect match!

The strap also comes in different colors, so you can definitely have fun with it too!

I’m so glad I finally got a strap for my Speedy – it’s a more practical purse now!

Rothy’s Weekender Bag | Closer Look

The Rothy’s Weekender bag is something that’s been on my list for a while. It’s huge and it definitely fits a ton of stuff.

While Rothy’s website has a short video comparison of both the Weekender and Overnighter bags, I didn’t feel it showed enough and even felt like there wasn’t much of a difference.

A random vlog – day in the life and mini what’s in my purse!

Happy weekend! This week’s YouTube video is a little all over the place. It’s a mix of a vlog with a few finds from Etsy and Amazon, along with a mini what’s in my bag video!

Here’s a little run through of some of the new things I got!

From Etsy
  1. YSL-inspired sweater – As you’ll see in my vlog, it’s extremely comfy! I’m wearing a size medium for a loose and oversized fit.
  2. “I speak fluent French” shirt – The sleeves are a bit long, but I wear them folded. I’m wearing a size small.

I mention my new kitchen table in my vlog – It’s from Hekman, but I’m not able to link the chairs. I am however, able to link the table. It’s the perfect fit and I love the neutral color.

From Amazon:
  1. Makeup brushes – This is even cheaper than I thought, under $10 for 14 brushes! I’ve been using the same makeup brushes for years, it was definitely time for an upgrade.
  2. Bag/purse strap – This is my alternative solution to making my Louis Vuitton Speedy more like a Speedy B! It’s way more cost-effective at around $12, compared to buying a whole new LV purse. I got the dark brown color, which is a perfect match to my purse.
  3. Blue Screen Glasses – These make a huge difference in my sinus headaches. You’ll see in my vlog how I had to order a new pair, so I went for these >> Quay Blue Screen Glasses. If you still don’t have a pair of blue screen glasses, you should strongly consider them, especially if you do a lot of work on your phone or computer.
  4. Amazon Chest – I didn’t actually talk about this in my vlog, but while I was editing, I noticed you get good a shot of this chest in my office. I think it’s so cute and it was definitely a lot easier to put together than Ikea furniture.

I mention my air fryer in my vlog – if you don’t have one, I highly recommend getting one! Food cooks a lot faster and you need basically little to no oil. I have the PowerXL Airfryer and I absolutely love it!

Looking for a smaller Yeti cup? I feel like everyone has the biggest one, but I wanted something smaller. I show you a light pink one in my vlog, but I kind of want to get this color too.
