My Purse Collection

Handbags are items I love to save for and splurge on – I can’t stop!

I love designer handbags from Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Chanel, and more. However, I only actually own a few designer handbags, as they are so expensive!

I get a lot of my non-designer purses from TJMaxx, Ross, or Nordstrom Rack – so I’m not able to link a lot of them! But I will definitely link what I can still find!

Check out my whole purse collection below:

How I prevent maskne (mask acne)

#TeamiPartner

Mask acne hit me really hard when there was a mask mandate for Colorado – I was breaking out like crazy! However, I didn’t take any steps to prevent “maskne” at that time.

When I did start taking prevention steps, I went a little overboard. I had read online that using a benzoyl peroxide gel or cream would be really helpful along the chin and mouth area – it was! I just used too much of it and it dried out the lower half of my face really bad – it looked like I had white scruff!

I’ve learned a lot through trial and error when it comes to maskne, so here’s what I’ve found that works best for me.

*Note: I am NOT a dermatologist and can only speak to my experience. My skin type is oily.

Step 1: Double Cleanse – I have a blog post all about it here.

Step 2: Face Toner – I have a number of different toners ranging from weak to strong. I use one type of toner a day on my face, depending on what I feel my face needs. For example, if I wore my face mask almost all day, I would use the stronger toner.

Step 3: Benzoyl peroxide – I never really use toner and a benzoyl peroxide cream or gel at the same time, so this could sometimes be step 2. I use this about one to two times a week on days when I feel like my skin needs that extra care.

Step 4: The other kind of face mask – I’ve been using the Teami Beauty Mask, Restorative Clay Facial. I’ve never really been consistent with any type of face mask until this one – it’s gentle enough to be used multiple times a week (I’ve been using it almost every other day) and it’s made with natural ingredients and no harsh chemicals. Also, it smells amazing! It makes my skin soft (as expected), but it also gives me a glow. I’ve noticed that having a consistent weekly face mask has definitely helped keep my skin clear.

Step 5: This is the MOST IMPORTANT and the step that has been the most LIFE CHANGING for me: TONER. Yes, it’s another toner, but it’s used on my face mask. I’ve been using the Trader Joe’s face toner (but I’m sure any toner in a spray bottle would work) and I haven’t had a breakout since. I only spray my face mask with toner right before I head to my car.

These are all the steps I take in order to prevent maskne. Let me know if you have any tips you’d like to share as well!

Clean with Me | House Chores

I don’t about you guys, but I actually find “Clean with Me” videos quite satisfying!

I love seeing the difference and change a quick clean up session can make – and it totally helps me get motivated to clean my own house afterward!

To clean my kitchen countertops, I like using the Mrs. Meyers Multi-Surface Everyday Cleaner. I’ve heard about this brand for FOREVER, but just recently made the switch – now I understand the love! The scent is long-lasting and it easily removes grime. I use the lavender scent. Get it here: https://amzn.to/3hJNql0

Best Pet Hair Removers | Review

If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll know I have two corgis that shed like CRAZY! I can’t ever leave the house without lint rolling myself first.

Corgis are known, not only for their big and funny personalities, but for all their shedding. So, the house is usually covered in corgi glitter.. from the floors, the couch, the bed.. and even the pillows! Sometimes I feel like I just sleep in fur.

I’m happy to report I’ve finally found pet hair remover tools that actually work!

First, is the FuRemover rubber broom – meant to remove fur from rugs and carpet. It’s so easy to use and the handle extends. This broom helps save me time for when I vacuum and have to make multiple trips to the trash can to dump out fur it sucked up.

Get it on Amazon here: https://amzn.to/34niXWl

Second, is the ChomChom Roller – an alternative to the lint roller for upholstery! It easily (and quickly) removes fur from couches, blankets, even rugs for a quick clean up, and pillows! This has been a game changer for cleaning and I can’t believe I’m just learning about it now! It saves me so much time and money, since I no longer have to waste a bunch of old fashion lint roller refills to use on our upholstery.

Billie Dry Shampoo | Review

I’m a big fan of the Billie Razor, so when they came out with a dry shampoo, I was pumped!

Billie has two different types of dry shampoos: one for blondes and a darker one for brunettes.

It’s claimed to be a volumizing dry shampoo, but volume is what I think it lacks the most.

It definitely does the job – cleans and refreshes, but it does not give me the lift I need at my roots.

However, now that a lot of us have been working from home, I, as I’m sure many others, have been doing the bare minimum with getting dressed and ready.. for Zoom meetings.

So, I’ve realized this dry shampoo has been pretty convenient – especially the one made for brunettes. All I have to do is drop some of it on my roots, massage it in, and I’m ready! No need to worry about white powder or streaks that other dry shampoos normally leave in my hair.

However, for volume, the Batiste Volumizing Dry Shampoo (with collagen) is my top favorite.

Teami Beauty Butterfly Collagen | Review

#TeamiPartner

Teami has a number of different products when it comes to wellness — from superfood blends, tea blend, detoxes, and now, collagen powder!

So, what is collagen?

Collagen is a protein that gives skin its strength and elasticity. Experts say your body starts to produce less collagen around the age of 25. Now, numerous health and beauty companies have been coming out with both powder and liquid collagen, as it’s believed to help keep your skin plump, which in turn will help prevent wrinkles! It’s also believed to be beneficial to your bones, nails, and hair as well.

Teami recently released their Teami Beauty Butterfly Collagen, which consists of a blend of wild-caught marine collagen, butterfly pea flower, and acai berry — ingredients Teami says is beneficial to hair, skin, and nails.

According to Teami, their marine collagen actually comes from codfish scales.

Sounds weird right? And if you’re like me – and you hate the taste and smell of anything with fish, then you’re probably wondering how this collagen powder doesn’t taste awful.

I was definitely concerned with this collagen powder, but I tried some of the smoothie recipes Teami sent me and I CAN’T taste or smell any fish!

You can mix the collagen powder with just milk (any type) or water, but I think mixing it in a smoothie blend really masks the fish flavor and smell.

My code will also work on their other products and some of their tumblers.
