My new egg/teardrop hanging chair

I’ve been seeing these egg/teardrop hanging chairs more and more in the past few months (pre-COVID-19), and I’ve always thought they were so cute and such a fun idea.

I decided to just go for it and purchase one for myself!

I took the time to search for one I really liked and wasn’t too expensive. I had found cheaper versions of the egg chair, but that’s all it was – just a chair, not a swing.

Overstock.com actually had a sale going on, and I found one I actually liked! It also came with a stand and pillows, which I thought was convenient because I saw a few listings where you had to buy the chair and stand separately.

I ended up buying the Cayuse Outdoor Wicker Tear Drop Hanging Chair from Overstock. It was originally listed at $417, but I got it for $377 (with the sale and a coupon!).

Unfortunately, it’s out of stock, but here’s the link in case it comes back: https://bit.ly/3gmE7aJ

I highly recommend getting a rain cover. Here’s the one I have: https://amzn.to/3hiVaL1

Here’s a popular one I’ve seen from Target (this one doesn’t hang): https://bit.ly/3dbX6CU

My sunglasses collection!

I’ve always loved having sunglasses to make any outfit pop! It especially helps on days I don’t have time to get ready or.. just don’t feel like it.

Lately, I’ve really been into Quay sunglasses – the oversized ones.

I decided to shoot a video to showcase my sunglasses collection! I typically will cycle through three to four different pairs for a while until I decide to switch up the set!

Check out my video here:

I couldn’t find links for my older pairs, but here are some for the ones that are still online:

Ray-Ban:

Aviator Gradient – Light Blue Gradient (These look really similar to mine, but I’m not 100% sure!): https://bit.ly/2WZ3bN9

Aviator Classic (These say “green” color, but I couldn’t find just black with gold frames): https://bit.ly/3bZnkXC

WOpet Smart Camera review | WOpet vs. Furbo

I was recently asked to do a review on the WOpet Smart Camera – it’s basically a cheaper alternative to the Furbo.

It’s on Amazon for $137 (plus there’s currently a $25 off coupon), making it a pretty big price difference from the Furbo at $249 – which is actually marked down to $199 on Amazon.

Since I have both pet cams, I thought this would be a good opportunity to do a comparison of the two and help you decide which one to get (if you’re in the market for one, of course!).

Check out the full review below:

My High Heel Collection

Have you seen my latest YouTube video? I take a little trip down memory lane and go through all my high heels. One pair is from high school and a few are survivors from college, albeit a bit dirty.

I buy the majority of my shoes from discount stores like Ross, TJ Maxx, DSW, and Nordstrom Rack – so I don’t have links to anything! I haven’t purchased new heels in a while, but I’m sure you can find similar styles to what I have at those discount stores.

Welcome to my blog!

Hey there! My name is Christina Dawidowicz. I’m 30 years old and live in Colorado Springs, Colorado (the above picture is from when I visited a friend).

I currently work as a news reporter for a local news station, but things will soon be changing as my boyfriend and I get ready to move. COVID-19 put a halt on our move in May, so it’s scheduled to happen later this year instead.. or so we think! This whole coronavirus situation changed a lot of people’s plans!

This blog will be my creative outlet. I don’t plan to continue in the TV news industry once we move out of Colorado, but I’ll continue to get both behind and in front of the camera with product reviews, vlogs, and of course, fun videos of my corgis. I’m the girl you can turn to for info on all things beauty, petite fashion, and lifestyle!

I’m tired of seeing YouTubers and bloggers promote things they don’t love, but get paid to love. I’m tired of seeing almost EVERY blogger promote the same product while saying “it’s my favorite” or “I’ve noticed improvements” just to make a sale. I will try every product and give you the real deal, regardless if it was sent as a promotional item or not. I’m here to be genuine and give you my honest thoughts!

I hope you enjoy the content you find on this blog!
