Amazon Candle-Making Kit | Review

This week I’m giving you all the deets on this Amazon Candle-Making Kit!

For starters, if it’s your first time making candles, this is a really good all-in-one kit. When I made my first candle (you check out my process here), I completely forgot about buying a thermometer when I was gathering all my supplies at Hobby Lobby. Fortunately, this kit already has one.

The kit includes six tins for your candles, but they’re smaller than I expected – guess it helps to read the description! I go into detail about how many candles one of the four bags of wax can make, but remember, it all depends on the size of your jars/tins. For me, one bag filled four of the small tins it came with. So, it may be different if you’re using a large jar.

As for the instructions, they’re pretty straightforward, but I wish they had more detail on how much water to fill the pot with to help the wax melt in the pouring pot.

I show the process of making and pouring the wax into the tins in my video down below, but overall, it’s a pretty great starter kit for anyone who is interested in making their own candles. I like that it also included five different essential oils, so you definitely get a variety of scents.

Best Sellers Dec. 20 – 26

It’s time for the weekly best sellers round-up! I hope you all had a great Christmas and Hanukkah, are you ready for the new year?! I definitely am!

Last week’s best sellers mostly come from Amazon, one of which is these clear tray organizers. They fit great in the kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom drawers. I use them in our kitchen and desk drawers and it makes everything so easy to find.

The other Amazon find is this purse strap – it’s the perfect match for any Louis Vuitton in the Damier Ebene print. I personally use it on my Speedy 30. I actually have a full review of it on my YouTube channel here. Another thing I use in my Speedy is this purse organizer, which I also have a review on here!

As for the Rothy’s – size up a half size! I’m a size 7, but go up to 7.5 in all Rothy’s.

Lastly is a sale alert on my FAVORITE fall/winter coat from Ralph Lauren. It makes any outfit better and dressed up – it works great over sweats! I love to use it at any time of day. It’s the perfect coat. Also… it’s on sale!! Run to Nordstrom or order it online before it sells out!

Amazon Automatic Curler vs. Chi Spin N Curl

One of my favorite products to review are hair tools! I also love comparing hair tools to more affordable alternatives and helping you decide which one is the better buy.

This week, I reviewed the Amazon Automatic Hair Curler and compared it to the Chi Spin N Curl.

The two look very similar, but there are a few minor differences that I go into detail about in my full YouTube review. You’ll see how I demonstrate how each one works and how the curls compare from both products.

In the end, I would rate the Amazon Automatic Hair Curler an 8/10 and would still choose my Chi Spin N Curl over it. However, if you are on a budget, the Amazon version is still a good option – it works well! You can check out why I’d still choose the Chi Spin N Curl in the video below.

Best Sellers | Dec. 13 – 19

Hey guys! I hope you all had a great weekend – are you ready for Christmas?! It’s just days away now!

Last week’s best sellers consist of some sold out items, so I wanted to include a few alternatives for some of the pieces, including the oversized blazer and high-rise mom jeans from Express.

One item on the list is a great dog hair remover for furniture. I have a full review of it here that you can check out – highly recommend!

Another Amazon item – this eye mask which is great for false lashes or lash extensions. I don’t use mine anymore since I started using the Revitalash Eyelash Serum – which I also recommend!

I hope you all have a great Christmas!

Best Sellers | Dec. 6 – 12

Last week’s best sellers list doesn’t include any fashion pieces! I love you can see a theme every week in these lists, whether it’s mainly Amazon products, beauty, or a whole outfit!

First we have the FURemoever from Amazon. It’s a rubber broom made to easily sweep up fur on carpet – it really works! You can check out my YouTube review of it here.

Some beauty items made the list, including products from Living Proof, including the volume blast and their dry shampoo. I personally love volume blast – I definitely noticed a difference when I tried it out. I’m all out of the Neutrogena Hydro Boost. So, that is one item I need to repurchase soon!

Lastly, we have my best pandemic purchase – my egg swing chair. It’s currently out of stock, but it always comes back. I’ve linked other options from Overstock down below.

Hope you have a great week!

Best Sellers | Nov. 29 – Dec. 5

It’s time for our weekly best sellers! Last week you all loved oversized blazers, long coats, and of course, the Abercrombie jeans that seem to be on this list nearly every week!

I’m always happy when I see my Amazon purse strap on the list – it’s such a big saver when it comes to the Louis Vuitton Speedy. It’s the perfect match to the Damier Ebene print.

My Ralph Lauren coats are my favorite! They’re dressy and can make any outfit. I’ve been doing this a lot with my tan-colored one – it really dresses up sweat pants! The navy one makes me feel so classy. I’m glad I kept both of them however, I initially only planned on keeping one!

Let me know what your favorites are!
