When the Billie Razor first came out, I was definitely skeptical. Why would I want to pay a monthly fee for razors?
Turns out, the Billie Razor IS actually very good quality. When the top portion of the razor (you’ll see in my YouTube video how it’s sticky when it’s dry, but moisturizing when wet, when you’re shaving) is no longer sticky, I want to change it out. So, that gives me a better shave. Also, I’m never short of razors now!
At $9 each time for razors (at your own schedule), it’s definitely worth it for me!
I also bought the travel case, which comes in handy for trips!
I’m kind of late to the Apple AirPods bandwagon, but better late than never, right? I was always against AirPods – they’re too small, I’ll easily lose them! However, I recently started to see how convenient they can be. Especially on walks, during workouts, cleaning, and just listening to music without bothering others – hands-free! My favorite part is I can now walk my dogs while talking to my friend through the AirPods. Now all I need are athletic shorts with pockets to hold my iPhone!
Here’s my fun take on my review of the AirPods Pro, similar in style to my first Rothy’s Loafers review:
I learned that the biggest difference between the AirPods and AirPods Pro is the noise-canceling feature. Since I’m not a tech guru, I definitely recommend you do more research on them before making the splurge!
I was never the best at face washing – it takes up too much time! But I always thought, “Hey, I did it, so we’re good.” Even if it was just a simple wash or a makeup wipe.
I recently started my skincare journey with the goal of getting clearer, smoother skin with improved texture. So, I would say I really started to take better care of my skin at the end/beginning of 2020. Finally, at 30 I realized skincare is important!
A simple skincare regimen was all I thought I needed. I thought, “Why put all that product on my face? Isn’t that too much?” Now, after careful and lengthy research, I realize there’s a reason for each step.
I’m not a fashion guru, but I do feel somewhat fashionable when I’m wearing a nice watch. I know.. Apple Watches are all the rage, but I’ve just never been attracted to one! Screens are in front of our face all the time; the TV, your phone, your computer.. and now smartwatches. It’s nice to have a break and not have to look at another screen just to check the time (if your watch isn’t dead like mine all are).
Apple Watches won’t be a part of my collection anytime soon – it’s just not my style! I enjoy having more than just a band as options to my watch style.
A majority of my collection consists of Michael Kors watches – I’m a big fan. So, I thought this might be a helpful blog post/YouTube video as many of us are going back into work or slowly starting to, which means we’re back to dressing up for work again!

Double cleansing: a term I’ve never heard of until a few weeks ago.
When I looked up what double cleansing meant, I was surprised to learn I was already doing it!
According to an article I read from the TODAY Show, it’s a two-step process where you first wash your face with an oil-based cleanser, then again with a water-based cleanser.
The oil-based cleansing balm will remove any makeup, dirt, and excess oils from deep into your pores!
Sounds great right? But, does it work?
My answer is yes! I’ve definitely noticed a huge difference in both how my skin looks and feels after double-cleansing. I’ve also noticed fewer breakouts around my chin, which is where they tend to appear these days. My face also looks brighter, and just cleaner!
Now, even when I’m tired, I ALWAYS make sure to do my complete cleansing routine!
Here’s a look at the products I use:
I start out with Clinique’s Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm. For a while, I was ONLY using this to remove my makeup and cleanse my face.. I definitely had makeup leftover on my face, but didn’t do anything about it.
A few months into this year, I started to use Cetaphil’s Daily Facial Cleanserafter the cleansing balm. I was amazed at how good my skin felt afterward.
This would complete the double-cleansing process, but I recently started to add in a sample of Lancôme’s Creme Mousse Confort face wash. I didn’t think I would care for it much, but I LOVE it! I think I even get the full-size product once I’m out of my sample!
In a way, it seems like I may be TRIPLE washing my face, but I kind of count the cleansing balm and water-based cleanser as one step, with the Lancôme cleanser being my second. It works for me and my face doesn’t feel irritated.
In the end, double-cleansing will forever be a part of my skincare system. It’s been great for my skin! Let me know which facial cleansers are your favorite!

I’ve been seeing these egg/teardrop hanging chairs more and more in the past few months (pre-COVID-19), and I’ve always thought they were so cute and such a fun idea.
I decided to just go for it and purchase one for myself!
I took the time to search for one I really liked and wasn’t too expensive. I had found cheaper versions of the egg chair, but that’s all it was – just a chair, not a swing.
Overstock.com actually had a sale going on, and I found one I actually liked! It also came with a stand and pillows, which I thought was convenient because I saw a few listings where you had to buy the chair and stand separately.
I ended up buying the Cayuse Outdoor Wicker Tear Drop Hanging Chair from Overstock. It was originally listed at $417, but I got it for $377 (with the sale and a coupon!).
Unfortunately, it’s out of stock, but here’s the link in case it comes back: https://bit.ly/3gmE7aJ
