Eyelure Pre-glued Lashes | Review & Tutorial

False lashes have always been difficult for me. Even after trying glue-on lashes numerous times, I can’t ever get it right!

When magnetic lashes came out, I was excited! It took some practice, but I eventually nailed it down. They’re definitely easier than glue-ons.. for me at least.

The problem was.. they damage easily or slowly start to move towards the end of my lashes and look VERY obvious.

When I found pre-glued lashes from Eylure, I was pumped! They are VERY sticky and do require a little bit of trimming, but after that, they’re perfect!

I’m also able to get at least TWO uses out of them! Now, they’re not meant to be worn twice, but if you’re able to get them on right the first time, without lifting them back off your lash-line multiple times, the glue will definitely last for a second wear at another date!

I’ve also tried them out again for a THIRD time, which required lash glue.. and it worked! So, really if you’re up for it, you can get THREE wears total.

I’ll mostly be sticking to the double wear since I’m awful at glue, but it’s definitely an option if you’re on a tight budget!

At under $5, these are definitely my favorite false lashes.

Teami Restore | Review

As a Teami Partner, I’ve been able to try a few different products ranging from tea blends and dietary supplements.

The latest product I’ve been enjoying is Teami Restore. It’s a powder mix full of calcium, magnesium and vitamin C.

According to the website, it’s meant to help you feel recharged and fully rested! – A way to destress.

While their website recommends drinking the mix before bed, I personally have been finding myself reaching for it after work as a cold drink.

I prefer cold drinks over hot drinks, but I definitely need to mix the powder in HOT water to make sure it’s well blended. Afterwards, I’ll add in a few ice cubes to help cool it down faster.

Does it work? I was definitely skeptical at first, but I do think it helps me relax faster than I normally could just sitting at home after work.

PiperWai Natural Deodorant |Review

I’ve always been interested in switching to a natural deodorant, but all the ones I’ve tried just never worked for me!

If you’re a fan of the show, Shark Tank, you’ve probably heard of PiperWai before. I haven’t been watching the show much lately, but luckily, we have Hulu and I was able to watch the full episode with PiperWai.

The main ingredient in their natural deodorant is activated charcoal. According to their website, it’s supposed to absorb sweat and neutralize odor.

It can take about two weeks for your body to fully adjust to a natural deodorant, so I gave myself about three weeks to try out the PiperWai deodorant!

Billie Razor – Why it’s worth the hype

When the Billie Razor first came out, I was definitely skeptical. Why would I want to pay a monthly fee for razors?

Turns out, the Billie Razor IS actually very good quality. When the top portion of the razor (you’ll see in my YouTube video how it’s sticky when it’s dry, but moisturizing when wet, when you’re shaving) is no longer sticky, I want to change it out. So, that gives me a better shave. Also, I’m never short of razors now!

At $9 each time for razors (at your own schedule), it’s definitely worth it for me!

I also bought the travel case, which comes in handy for trips!

Change your AirPods, change your life! | Apple AirPods Pro (fun) review

I’m kind of late to the Apple AirPods bandwagon, but better late than never, right? I was always against AirPods – they’re too small, I’ll easily lose them! However, I recently started to see how convenient they can be. Especially on walks, during workouts, cleaning, and just listening to music without bothering others – hands-free! My favorite part is I can now walk my dogs while talking to my friend through the AirPods. Now all I need are athletic shorts with pockets to hold my iPhone!

Here’s my fun take on my review of the AirPods Pro, similar in style to my first Rothy’s Loafers review:

I learned that the biggest difference between the AirPods and AirPods Pro is the noise-canceling feature. Since I’m not a tech guru, I definitely recommend you do more research on them before making the splurge!

My 2020 Skincare Routine

I was never the best at face washing – it takes up too much time! But I always thought, “Hey, I did it, so we’re good.” Even if it was just a simple wash or a makeup wipe.

I recently started my skincare journey with the goal of getting clearer, smoother skin with improved texture. So, I would say I really started to take better care of my skin at the end/beginning of 2020. Finally, at 30 I realized skincare is important!

A simple skincare regimen was all I thought I needed. I thought, “Why put all that product on my face? Isn’t that too much?” Now, after careful and lengthy research, I realize there’s a reason for each step.
