My dogs’ Top Five Favorite Toys | Corgi Faves

If you’re a dog lover like I am, then you know your pup has a favorite toy. Even if the toy they’ve been playing with for more than a week is torn up, they still LOVE it!

I recently bought a new dog toy for my corgis and Biggie is completely obsessed with it. It made me realize, why don’t I put out a list of my dogs’ top five favorite toys?! So, here they are, in order of their top favorite, absolutely begging to play with it:

  1. Laser Pointer – Do you find this one odd? We got one for Biggie just for fun, to see how he’d react to it, and it’s his number one favorite toy in the world. This is the only toy he sits nearby (we leave it on the corner of the kitchen counter) and waits for. Sometimes, he will even sit by the back door (as if he needs a potty break), but will run around you and sit by the laser. Both Biggie and Karma LOVE running up and down our hallway, chasing the laser as we point it in different directions. It also doubles as a workout for them too if it’s snowing/too cold outside. We got ours from Amazon. It doesn’t take batteries and is rechargeable!
  2. Jolly Egg – This is our latest purchase and we were both surprised by how much Biggie loves playing with it! I was browsing Amazon for some birthday gifts for Biggie back in January, and this is one I saw that had the best reviews. Don’t get me wrong, I was definitely confused. Why would a cheap plastic egg be such a hit with dogs? WELL, it’s hilarious to watch them play with it. Because of its shape, they can’t pick it up. And when they paw at it with force, it shoots out behind them. Biggie actually whines when he plays with it because he can’t get a grip on it. Our girl Karma can’t even take a turn since Biggie is a toy hog. He’ll even take a toy she’s using and just grab it from her. Maybe someday. Get the Jolly Egg from Amazon here.
      • I definitely plan to shoot a video of Corgi vs. Egg soon!
  3. NERF Chain Braid with Football – This rope-type toy is one of Biggie’s faves because he can quickly pick it up and run with it. We like it because if the football is chewed up, we can simply cut it off, and still have a rope. And as the rope gets destroyed on one end, we can trim it and basically create a fresh, new rope! So, this is one toy that we know will get destroyed easily, but can still last a good while. We get ours from Target!
  4. Tuffy Toys – Tuffy Toys are a great option for my corgis. They’re made for super chewers, so it can take them a white to fully destroy it. While we’ve had different shaped animals in these toys, their fave is the pig! Both Biggie and Karma loved it equally. I personally like it for them because once they tear through it, I can remove the stuffing inside and they still love playing with the pig itself. That part actually lasted a really long time. I plan on getting another one soon! We usually get out Tuffy Toys from TJMaxx or Ross, but I just found it here on Amazon!
  5. Squeaky Balls – Of course, every dog loves tennis balls, and my corgis are no different. We’ve got some from Amazon, Chewy, TJMaxx, even Walmart. It’s good exercise for the pups and I think Karma’s top fave game – chasing the ball. I wouldn’t say “retrieve” the ball, because she doesn’t always bring it back (we’re still working on it). I found some from Amazon here.

Let me know what your dog’s favorite toys are! I love spoiling my dogs, so I’m always on the lookout for new, affordable toys I think they’ll love. Don’t forget, you can follow Biggie and Karma on Instagram!

Best Sellers | Jan. 31 – Feb. 6

Hi all! Last week’s best sellers is finally here!

Every now and then, the Louis Vuitton Victorine wallet makes an appearance on the list. I love mine and use it as my everyday wallet!

These Abercrombie 90’s high-rise jeans are one of my new favorite pairs! I would say it’s true to size, although I did get a short size and it’s still a tiny bit long on me.

Of course, no surprise with this oversized blazer from Express – a closet staple!

If your man loves cologne, I highly recommend the Dior Sauvage cologne – it smells amazing!! My husband uses it and it’s one of my top faves of his cologne collection!

Lastly, this egg swing chair from Overstock is on sale!! I got mine at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic and it was definitely one of my best adult purchases! I’m also linking the cover – it’s great to help protect and keep the cushions clean!

Best Sellers | Jan. 23 – 30

The Amazon trend on the weekly top sellers list continues! One item we haven’t seen on this list for a while is the FURemover. It’s a rubber broom that makes a HUGE difference in picking up dog fur from your carpet. It really helps make more room in your vacuum – my corgis’ fur takes up a lot of space in my Dyson!

This purse strap is always making appearances on the list, so I’m not surprised it’s made it’s way back!

A new item on the list are these Gucci-inspired tights. I originally got mine from Etsy, but I found them on Amazon! I’ve linked three options, one of which is from Etsy, just in case the listings get taken down. I would definitely purchase before they’re gone! I also recently ordered Chanel-inspired ones, but the listing was taken down fairly quickly too.

Back on the list is my favorite winter coat from Ralph Lauren. It’s a perfect neutral color that goes with every outfit. I wear a size two.

Best Sellers | Jan 10th – 16th

Amazon dominated last week’s best sellers!

The purse organizer is something I still use every day in my work bag. Check out my review on it here.

The bralette from Aerie is super comfortable, but it looks like only one color is left!

This ring is still holding up well, and I think I’ve had it for nearly a year now. It’s never changed color or turned my finger great. It’s great quality at a great price!

The pink curling wand has quickly turned into one of my favorite hair tools. It gives you the best touseled waves – it looks so effortless!

Let me know which products are your favorite!

I hope you all have a great week!

Best Sellers of 2021 | Top 10

Welcome to 2022! I’ve taken note of all your favorite items that I’ve shared and rounded them all up in my list of my top sellers of 2021!

Pants took over the majority of this list, and it was mostly jeans. They range from Abercrombie, Good American, and Express. Also coming in from Express are the oversized blazers – a top fave of mine for 2021.

I was so happy to see the Supergoop Sunscreen Powder make this list because it shows me you’re taking care of your skin! Skincare is so important to me, and it’s something I wish I started years ago.

The dressy coat from Nordstrom also made the list, along with my top Amazon best seller – the purse strap I use on my Louis Vuitton Speedy 30!

What items were that I shared were your favorite from 2021?

Amazon Candle-Making Kit | Review

This week I’m giving you all the deets on this Amazon Candle-Making Kit!

For starters, if it’s your first time making candles, this is a really good all-in-one kit. When I made my first candle (you check out my process here), I completely forgot about buying a thermometer when I was gathering all my supplies at Hobby Lobby. Fortunately, this kit already has one.

The kit includes six tins for your candles, but they’re smaller than I expected – guess it helps to read the description! I go into detail about how many candles one of the four bags of wax can make, but remember, it all depends on the size of your jars/tins. For me, one bag filled four of the small tins it came with. So, it may be different if you’re using a large jar.

As for the instructions, they’re pretty straightforward, but I wish they had more detail on how much water to fill the pot with to help the wax melt in the pouring pot.

I show the process of making and pouring the wax into the tins in my video down below, but overall, it’s a pretty great starter kit for anyone who is interested in making their own candles. I like that it also included five different essential oils, so you definitely get a variety of scents.
