EASY Chunky Knit Pumpkin DIY

Fall is officially here, at least it is in Colorado.. and I wanted to take advantage of the fall festivities.

I’ve seen a few posts on some pumpkin craft DIYs and also saw a few businesses offer classes on how to make a chunky knit pumpkin, but it cost nearly a hundred bucks!

Luckily, my friend, Abbie, came up with a clever idea on how to make our own chunky knit pumpkins for around $25-$30!

I got both plush pumpkins and hard plastic pumpkins. I used a hot glue gun to glue strips of the chunky knit yarn all around the pumpkin and completely covered it.

We got our supplies from Hobby Lobby, but I’m sure they’re available at any craft store and of course, Amazon!

I found similar yarn to what I used on Amazon: https://amzn.to/3nELkXe
