Sephora Sale! | Spring Savings ends April 19

Looking to get some new makeup? Now’s the time to shop at Sephora for MORE than one item.

Makeup can be so pricey, I can hardly every buy more than one product at a time if we’re talking foundation and powders. However, now that there’s reason shop AND save, I thought I’d share my top picks with you!

The Sephora Sale is officially open to everyone. This sale is typically broken into tiers (similar to how Nordstrom did their anniversary sale last year), with VIB Rouge members shopping first, then VIBs, then Insiders.

Each member can get a different percentage off, depending on which bracket they fall into.

I haven’t shopped at Sephora much, so I have the status of Insider and can only get 10% off.

You can shop this sale in stores or online with code: OMGSPRING

While looking at the cart I just filled up online, I realize it’s a lot of basics and one skincare item.

I’ve definitely been through a phase where I wanted to try EVERYTHING and ALL the hottest skincare products, but I’m at a point in my life now where I know what works for me and I know what I like, makeup-wise.

I also like to use sales like these for pricer products, so I can save on them.

Here’s what I picked out from the sale:

IT Cosmetics – Your Skin But Better Foundation – It’s not full coverage, but good for everyday wear. For full coverage, I like Estee Lauder’s Double Wear Foundation – it’s been my all-time favorite foundation. I wear the shade Tawny in this one.

For face powder, I’m pretty simple – I’ve used Mac Mineralized Skin Finish, Laura Mercier Translucent powder, and more recently, Charlotte Tillbury’s Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder. They all seem the same to me, and I have seen nothing amazing about either one. Let me know if you have a must-have powder product.

I added the Kat Von D Tattoo Eyeliner to my cart. Ever since I first tried this out, I never went back to pencil eyeliner again. It’s amazing and makes me feel good about putting eyeliner on because it goes on smoothly!

I added the Tarte Toasted Eyeshadow Palette because I feel like eyeshadow palettes can be pricey, so save now. I like the colors in this palette with the reds and browns. I think these colors give a pretty neutral look, with depth.

Nars blush will always be my favorite. Not only does the color last long, but the product lasts long as well. I’ve tried colors in Orgasm and Deep Throat, and love them both. Right now, I’m wanting to try the color, Sin.

Can’t forget about bronzer! I added the Hoola Matte Bronzer from Benefit. I’m not too picky about bronzer, but I really like this one!

For skincare, I really like these Extra Strength Alpha Daily Peels by Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare. These are so expensive, so try to get them on sale when you can!

Clinique’s Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm – I LOVE cleansing balms, so I definitely recommend getting one. It’s amazing at taking off makeup and makes it easy to double cleanse. For more on double cleansing, check out my blog post here.

Lastly, I’d list the Dyson Supersonic Hairdryer or Airwrap, but they’re already out of stock! That’s what I don’t like about tiered sales – the hot ticket items sell out way before the general public has access to the sale. I have the hairdryer, and I definitely recommend! It’s quieter than a normal hairdryer and dries my hair really fast – worth it!

Those are my pics from the Sephora Sale! I hope you found my list helpful! Overall, I never go too crazy over this sale, I just stick to basics!

JUNO & Co. | JUNOSKIN Cleansing Balm | Review

My office in our new home is almost complete! It feels great to have a space dedicated to the work on my blog – I’ll be sure to show you the finished look!

This week’s blog post is all about JUNOSKIN. I’m fairly new to JUNO & Co. and I’ve been enjoying learning about the company, which makes affordable skincare and makeup.

I reviewed their Moonshine Miracle Cream a while ago, which I think is comparable to SmashBox’s Photofinish primer.

If you’re new or just getting started with cleansing balms, I highly recommend checking out JUNOSKIN’s Clean 10 Cleansing balm.

It’s so incredibly silky and quickly melts in your fingers. It makes your makeup removal process so smooth and easy. Because it’s so silky, I was expecting it to leave a little bit of grease behind, but it doesn’t!

I’d say it’s comparable to Clinique’s Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm. The big difference is that JUNOSKIN’s balm is silkier, has a very mild scent, and has dark spot brightening properties! That’s something that really sparked my interest in this product, as I have numerous dark spots I’ve been working to brighten.
